The difference is that username means a person's name for example my name is Usman55 and by using this type of feature I can change it to anything for example Swisser. A username color is the color of the username for example my name's color is Blue. Get it?

If you send me a PM request I will change your username for you. The reason you cant change your username yourself is for a number of reasons but if everyone was able to change their username whenever they wanted it would get really confusing and noone would know who anyone was.
I think the only valid reason anyone would want to change their username is if they signed upto the site without giving their username much thought and after being part of the community for a while they want to change it to something better/more "unique". Other than that I dont really know why anyone would need to change their username :?
