is there a way to load AJAX CHAT in visual basic from a PHPBB forum?
like load it into a richtextbox and also have it encrypted?
by that i mean,
can i have a user sign in to their forum acc on the program, then have them be able to chat with other forum users even ones using the forum not the program

U could do it with some getelementbyid etc.. Codes...

I did a similar thing for CnS Desktop but its not easy and can take a while. You will need a hidden browser on your form to keep the chat loaded in and then you read the elements from that. It would be better to write a "mod" for the phpbb site which just displays the chat messages and only the chat messages or something :?

I just tried Chat with this Site but i didnt got it working to see Messages in TextBox...But sending message could be done i think..
