Oo, i really REALLY can't wait for this to come out! 2 of the videos were blocked of Microsoft Corporation, something about "Touch Effects/Gestures" and "MetroUI oobe Screen"

Me too but in the videos it was unstable for me... If you download the torrents you get just a win7. To open the hidden features you'll need to hack 'em. But i'll probably download the beta

More leaks just like Vista/Win7 you would have thought microsoft would have that problem sorted by now lol. Ive looked over the screens/specs/videos and it doesnt seem all that different from Win7 (atleast for now). I read that it will probably be revealed in a tech show in September with a possible release date early 2012 but win7 has only just come out (over a year ago but its still fresh) and if they release W8 next year thats way too early and yet another OS you have to pay out for :? I dont see the point in it to be honest.

W8 will probably be designed with tablets and touch screen in mind because thats where the future is and because microsoft have just bought Skype it will probably include some call type features built in which may be a good thing but im still 2 OS's behind loyal to my beloved XP because Vista (haha sucks) and Win7 cant offer me anything new so I refuse to upgrade. Maybe Win8 will have something thats actually useful and finally persuade me to upgrade..but we will have to wait and see wont we lol.

Tried installing twice, and just got problems. I'm giving this a 3rd try right now (3rd try meaning installing).

Of course the installer will still look like windows 7, they still have a lot to work threw. I'm gonna keep my opinions to myself regarding windows.

For whom that is saying windows 8 is looking like windows 7 at the moment, it's because they start off with windows 7 look and then they will change it, as before windows 7 looked like windows vista when it was leaked

I downloaded and tested it on my dell, and theres new features. BUT, NO classic theme anymore :(
