Music Thing
CodenStuff
Hello,

Music Thing

This is another of my little side experimentation projects im working on inspired by some of your old request and I thought I would give it a go see if I could do it. Its meant to be some kind of music maker where can take little sound samples/audio loops and place them all together in any order to create a track like dance ejay and magix music maker software and others that I cant think of because im not a big music making person lol.

Anyway this is just an experiment a bit of fun and I wont be making a full blown app with it instead ill release the source when I have something working and let you guys make you own out of it if you want too.

So far we can only play a sequence? I'm not sure what to do if we can change it :/ But, I'm loving it and can't wait to look at the source :)

Well the idea is you make your own sound track using sample wav files arranging them in any order you want to produce the track you want :? lol.

In the updated version below you can add sample files by clicking the listbox and then drag them around to arrange them however you like then play the track. Double click to remove and you can save and load your tracks aswell..ive included a saved one that I made which isnt very good but you can see it working just click the load button when you first start it up :)

You can add your own sample wav files to the Samples folder if you wanted and they would show up on the list. Its fun to play with.

I like the drag feature. How did you make that?

Hey
Thats pretty Cool :)

I like the way you can drag the Sample/s(colored boxes) around to refine the Mix cooll;

A sample rate and lenght of Sample would look good, Plus a Timecode to see the Lenght of Samples added...

Jeez the list is endless wahooo;

anyway Great idea and hope you develop it further
