Lets Go!

We had fun with Capone and now im giving the classic game Lemmings a go to see if I can do that aswell lol. Not everything is working yet but you can build step, dig a tunnel (in a straight line) and dig diagonal downwards and currently the lemmings only have a walking animation and the code so far is a still a little buggy but its playable atleast for a quick test if you want to check it out.

If I can get the code done so the lemmings do all the usual actions then it would be really easy to just add levels like the rubbish one ive drawn in the demo :lol:

Personally I don't like the buttons on the side. Maybe you should try using keys and mouse? Other than that it's great.

I loved the lemmings although I'm 17, I will try it out tonight, looks great!

EDIT: Downloaded, and played, so far what you have is amazing! You should add a Games section for the website so people can submit their games

LOL it is not turning into games'n'stuff this is just a bit of fun for me to do while I take a break from the stress of my other projects and website programming lol.

I also see a lot of posts and get a lot of PMs on how to make games in VB and people should really be using directx but most dont want to learn it so this is a learning experience for me on how to do it with basic VB and GDI so when we get asked how to do certain things for a game we can now answer :P ..ill put up all the source-codes when ive finished messing about :lol:

Well its not finished yet but its slowly getting there ive made 3 test levels, tried to work out some of the bugs and a couple more 'animations' sprites that look a bit dodgy at the moment but like I said its getting there lol.






So far lemmings can: Climb, Dig (diagonal), Tunnel, Dig down, block and build bridges.

Dont press the all out button until youve comepleted a safe path to the goal because they come out fast.
