Hello Codenstuffers, I own a Nintendo DSi and the main web browser application which shows on the main menu got deleted somehow, maybe from the data management. All apps that use net work but I can't browse the net itself from the browser. I learned from many articles I can get it back for free by downloading it from the DSi Shop but unfortunately, the shop is not available in my country.

Another thing I want to ask is how to transfer stuff like pics from the nintendo to my laptop or my mobile.

The nintendo is not mine but my cute little sister's (lol).

Use a proxy to access the shop? Maybe Nintendo can help you with this one.

proxy? How can I access a proxy on the nintendo dsi? And also, most of the proxies in my country are blocked by Qtel. (Qtel is the main service provider in the whole country.)

It seems like a lot of effort just to get a DS web browser working.
I would try to contact Nintendo first and they should give you the best advice for your location.

Transferring images from DSi to PC:

You insert an SD card into the DSi so when you take pictures you save it onto the memory card, when you want to put the images onto your PC just take the card out and put it into a card reader on your PC.

Browser Issue:

If you have lost apps/reformatted your DSi the only way to get them back is by downloading from DSiShop, it's free. If it doesn't work in your country then unfortunately you cannot get it back and you may have to contact Nintendo.

But trust me Wifi on the DS's a re shit I own a DSi and a DSL and they both have Wifi and I do not use it.
