Is there a way to install windows 7 on a tv?

If you have a TV with Connectors = you can use the TV as a Monitor, but i am not sure if can actually load windows onto a TV (Unless its got a Harddrive and has a GUI for it?

maybe you can hack its firmware or something, but I'm not into that
I know there is a free OS , called ubuntu TV, I don't know on what tv's it will work though :P (I don't even know if its really for TV's, but I guess so)

Why do you want to install windows on a TV? lol and do you have a specific TV in mind for this?

I wouldnt be surprised if microsoft did release a windows tv at some point in the future though because google and apple have already done it.

I want a new pc because I'm using a 2 years old laptop but my parents don't want to buy it. However they let me chose what tv to buy cause we don't have one yet. So I want to use the tv as computer.

I hope I can use it as screen :S
