i am going to write something quite quick to you all to to let you know what anti virus you should get.

so one put your nortal mcfee and all of them down there cr** and do not work as well as the one i use avast anti virus that is free for life and does a lot better then these ones that cost it updates every 1/2 hour with new data base updates and will protect you pc a lot better then the others.

How is it better than AVG? Or any other for that matter? Just because it updates more often?

EDIT: I use avast and I don't have anything against avira or avg or anything else..

i have used avast avg and macfee and over all i like avast more not only does it get more viruses then avg and mcfee does it updates its virus data base the most this means that it can learn new threats faster then others. this means that you could only get the update after you have been infected

I use Microsoft Security Essentials, and I use a Premium version of Malwarebytes.

Tests from reputable magazines such as PCUtilities, PCWorld, Micro Hebdo and others have show Avast, even the free version, to be better than paying versions of Norton, McAfee, etc.

How does updating more often make it better?
By updating more often, your av has the latest virus database and can detect all the latest viruses, since many come out each day.

However, in many of the tests named above, Kaspersky was declared editor's choice for its ease of use and functionnality.
