Hello,
Wanting to get back into Windows 8 app making I spent the last few days on and off trying to think of apps to make and came across one I was working on at the end of last year. It was an advent calendar using the live tiles to display Christmas messages and play different Christmas music but I didn't finish it because loads of similar apps appeared in the store..and I had other things to do so I quit work on it. Now I think I will continue with it throughout the year and try to come up with a different type of Christmas app and I was just working on a main screen for it to see what I could do and so far I have this....
Yes that's all I have so far...a "Christmassy" (is that a word) background with animated falling snow. I even did the graphics myself
It's a start :lol:

It indeed looks nice and neat. 
Besides, I don't think I have much chance to get back into programming, at least for the following two years or so, as these are the most important years of my life and my future totally depends on it. Yes, I'm talking about studies and the field I have chosen (Medical) has limited outcomes. After that, I'll be having professional studies/courses. Wish me luck.

I'm not actually making the app right now it's just an early demo of how it may look when I work on it and perhaps release it later this year in time for Christmas lol.
