HI i am trying to setup for my program a file to hold settings like a .ini i have the codes for read write and everything and i have a class but what i want to know is if i have a options form how can i make it save the settings so when form1 loads it loads those options.

This is all in my form1 so far:
Code: Select all
 Dim filepath As String = (My.Application.Info.DirectoryPath + "/test.ini")
        If Not System.IO.File.Exists(filepath) Then
            System.IO.File.Create(filepath).Dispose()
        End If
        Dim testTxt As New StreamReader(filepath)
        Dim allRead As String = testTxt.ReadToEnd()
        testTxt.Close()

and this is under public class this is what creates the file:
Code: Select all
Dim INI_File As New IniFile(My.Application.Info.DirectoryPath + "/test.ini")
and this is my IniFile.vb class
Code: Select all
Public Class IniFile
