Project Temperature [Now in BETA]
Here is the place to post images, videos and downloads of your current and upcoming applications that you are working on.
Account isn't needed for requests, since most requsts come from RaspberryPi, it makes sure that useragent is Python's URLLib2

Alright when you have finished i'll work on making it so that the arduino can connect to it =D
Hello,
We've been working on integrating new design to existing back end, this is what we got so far:

This awesome design was completely made by #comathi. I'll keep you updated with progress.

Probably time for an update lol.
We've changed map providers. We're now using Leaflet's JavaScript API and OpenStreetMap's data to display the sensors on the main page. The animations are much smoother, the "spiderfy" feature works better and it offers more customization features.
The background of the popup containing the sensor data now corresponds to the color in the database (user-defined), and the unit conversion is just about working 100% I would say
Here's a screenshot:

Hello everyone,
We've been working hard on project and that we made a big progress.
We recently added user profile page which will feature user's sensors, groups and awards
So far only sensors tab is done. Groups will be implemented soon, awards too.
We also added notifications bar, which will show user it's notifications.
As always we did alot of bug fixes to make sure everything runs smooth.
PS: We will be opening project for private alpha testing soon

Hey everyone, just another quick update for you guys.
#Filip has been hard at work implementing some new features on the site, including the new member profile page:
He's also tweaked the notifications to make them look much better:

For my part I've done mostly design stuff. I managed to add more color to the site, as you can see in the first screenshot and in the following:
I felt it would add a little more life to it lol.
The "extended view" page has also been tweked. Both feature-wise and design-wise. More features for administrators and sensor owners have been added:

The map has also received a few design tweaks, notably the popups, whose buttons now look the same across browsers (except for IE... sorry about that):

Finally, the unit changer has been fully implemented and as I've noticed so far, everything seems to be working fully:

Your choice of units is saved in a cookie, so everytime you visite the site, your preferences will be saved. By default, the site uses Celsius (huzzah!), but depending on the unit you choose, the values will be converted and the symbol changed
Here are the units available so far:
[*]Celsius (default)
[*]Fahrenheit
[*]Kelvin
[*]Rankine
[*]Rømer
[*]Réaumur
[*]Delisle
[*]Newton
Lot's there to choose from. I'm sure you'll find your favourite cooll;
That's pretty much it for now. Filip will have to confirm this, but I believe we're ready to release Project Temperature to alpha-testers pretty soon. We'll probably post it here (obviously) but also on the Raspberry Pi forums, as the people registered there usually all have a Pi laying around somewhere lol.
More updates to come, stick around ;)

may I give one advice about the design?
do not use to many colours, the font not pure black but #666666 looks much better!

Yes I might have gone overboard with the colors
I'll try to see if I can tone it down in some places. For the font color, however, #666666 doesn't provide enough of a contrast with the background, and #262626 looked weird for some reason (usually, that's the color I'll use).
Thanks for the advice, though cooll;
