Yes, I heard about that. Apparently, Microsoft was making around $10 worth of profit for every Windows phone sold, so I guess they realized they wouldn't survive strictly off of mobile software.

Well now we can kiss goodbye any chance of Nokia making an Android device... What a shame lol.

From what I understand, through the deal Microsoft made with Nokia, Nokia's CEO is moving to the Microsoft board and is next in line to become CEO of Microsoft... All he has to hope for now is that Steve Ballmer resigns soon :lol:

Yes shame microsoft bought it over, #comathi Steve Ballmer said he was ready to resign this year if not early next year as soon as they find someone new to take his place, so if Nokia CEO is hoping for it, chances are he'll be the next CEO of Microsoft

I think that might actually by very good for Microsoft. Since they're venturing more and more into the hardware business, perhaps having a CEO who has experience with these kind of things will help them make better products

Well, when Nokia was searching for a new OS to use, they asked Google, but they didn't even want to negotiate... BTW, this horrifies me even more cause i live in Finland, and I've always loved Nokia lol.

#sasunka I read Samsung,Apple & Motorola etc smartphone crashes but I never heard any Nokia Smartphone crashes..

I'd be surprised Nokia phones don't crash, not because it's Nokia, but because it's running Windoes Phone.

It's a shame Google won't negotiate with Nokia. It might be because Microsoft and Nokia have some sort of arrangement. I know some PC manufacturers are contractually obligated to ship machines with Windows, and no other OS.
