Long time no hear (see)
I wanted to let you know i entered the Computer Sciences Academy in my country - Serbia ;) And i am on first year know. Also i wanted to ask you guys a thing about my program that i am stuck on.
I have a Client/Server application and on LAN it works great (127.0.0.1). But when i try to use my public (router ip) to connect to my self it can't. I am not sure what the reason is, it seems like it can't keep the connection alive or something, when i use online port forward tester it says that the port is open, and in my server application it says that i connected to my self (my ip is shown in the server app) but when i try to use my own client it won't connect. Not sure what the problem is ?
I am not sure how the online port forward tester works but in my app it's shown what IP:SOCKET is connected and it connects to the server with MY ip and my client app won't. I already tried turning off AV/Firewall nothing... Please help ;) It is vb.net app that is why i posted it here.

try portforwarding the specific ports on your router.
PM me if you need any help
PM me if you need any help

I port forward port on my router to my pc (1555). Same on both sides. Port forwarding site connects to my application, and i can see that in my server app, but my client can't.
I am not sure what you mean by "port forward to your router" ?
