A message to all Windows XP users
Support for Windows XP will end on 8th April 2014
What does this mean?
You will no longer receive support from Microsoft
XP will no longer be kept up-to-date with automatic updates/Bug fixes
You may no longer be protected against future viruses/attacks
Future software and hardware may not function correctly or at all
Windows XP is a great operating system and one of my personal favourites, but if you want to stay secure and up-to-date and continue to use the latest software and hardware then it is recommended that you upgrade your system or OS to a newer version as soon as possible.
More information regarding end of support can be found here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/wind ... pport-help
Reminder
You will no longer receive updates and you may become vulnerable to viruses and attack if you continue to use XP after April 8th.
Stay safe and upgrade now cooll;

Welcome to CodenStuff.com Learn Code, Love Code. Thank you for being a member of the community.
I swear I remember them saying something similar was gonna happen like a year ago, welp I guess it's definitely happening now. I wonder if the community will keep XP alive, since everyone always loved it.
Nah, Xp's had enough. It's the reign of 7 now.
I think there is 0% chance of reverting from their decision.

Windows XP is being used widely in offices everywhere so theres no way upgrading fastly.
Find my programs on Softpedia
Its about time, Windows XP was the best OS of it's time, but now since 7 and 8 came out is like comparing 13 year old car (xp) with the latest models of Ferrari (7, 8).
You can find me on Facebook or on Skype mihai_92b
WinXP was probably the best op/sys for customisation and getting around the Security of Programs and the like
With every new Operating System the Security gets beefed up, and everything is now Logged to the Internet in some way or another, You only have to look at Adobe and it's products.

It's been known for a few years that Microsoft would end support for Windows xp in 2014. Knowing that, the companies affected should have started upgrading their computers gradually so they wouldn't be stuck upgrading everything at once like a lot of companies probably are now.
Better yet, they could have imitated some government organisations and switched to Linux ;)

microsoft have stated, that they will continue to produce security updates for windows XP till 2015. but no other update support from this year.
