I never thought it was possible to change (as in IE6) the “Mozilla Firefox” window name, however, if you want to do so you only have to have a program which can make jar files (like WinAce, for example) and follow this instructions:
to create a .jar file in winrar right click on locale add to archive change the name of the archive en_GB.jar or what ever language u use
1. Exit Firefox.
2. Go to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\chrome and open the jar file en_US.jar.
3. Extract its content and go to locale > branding.
4. Open the “brand.dtd” file using the notepad.
5. Look for the “Mozilla Firefox” text and change it with your new title for Firefox.
6. Save the changes and go to the folder where you extracted the jar.
7. Select the locale folder and make a jar file with WinAce or another program which can make jar files.
8. Cut the new jar file, name the original with another extension like jar1, for example (if you want to restore it later), and paste the new one.
That’s all, now you have your own personalized Firefox window name.
