This is being made using JQuery, and some JavaScript, cause some things I only know how to do in JS than in JQ. (of course I'll incorporate HTML5, and CSS3 in it too)

If it gets to be really popular I'll implement PHP into it with some additional programs like an instant messenger for example, but it's just a small project for me, to learn more, and have fun :)

Any advancements yet? Or are you still designing the images and things like that?

I haven't designed anything regarding it, cause I'm working on a flyer for this wrestling company I'm in called HCEW, plus family problems going on.

I just thought of something last night, and it's still a thought process, however I'd like to hear what your guy's ideas on it.

So as far as applications go, how about making this a FULL CLOUD OS, meaning all the applications are "cloud based" which obviously what I mean is I come across so many people that don't know about these great web apps out there like Sumo Paint, jsFiddle, Google Docs, PDF Escape, Meebo, and much much more. So all the apps are online apps, in which the url to the app will be visible on the panel, as well as the name of the web app. (Finally figured on what to use that thing for). Additionally social networking sites will be listed, online email clients, etc: etc:

So this is a way where some sites can get more views, plus it'll help people see how good these web apps are, and maybe they'll keep their money, and not spend $1,000 on 3ds max, photoshop, dreamweaver, etc: when there's some really great alternatives.

However some software I'll be developing myself for the site, like a calculator, as I don't see a need to make, or find a web app for that as they'res so many, and it's an easy thing to make. Plus I can style it up, and make it look like in Gimp, and JQuery :D

Also I'll hold a small contest for users to design the GUI for the web browser, and the regular window that'll hold the applications. The reason why I'll be holding this contest is I won't be able to get to making the GUI for about a month, cause I'm very busy, but It'll be a way to test your skills, and ideas for the GUI, and how you'd like to see it look.

Also just for the sake of it, you can also design the calculator for me, and any other app that you come up with, which will give you extra points.

The winner will get 25 credits (I would say 50, but that's all I have) however this contest is on other sites, so I can't guarantee you're GUI will be implemented into the site, but you will get your 25 credits if you win. The top 3 winners will be the first to try out the web os once completed, and won't haft to spend any credits to test it out once first released on here.

As you may know I'm poor, and have no source of income so I have no prize for the winners, except to be the first to test the web os, however I'll make a stylish icon that you guys will get. (I still have yet to message Code'N'Stuff about this though, and see what he thinks regarding the contest)

So what do you guys think, is this a good idea???

This is what I've been able to create so far, but like it's still an idea process of what I said above, however cause of what I said above, I finally was able to come across a name.

Well I'm designing it in a resolution of 800x600, for thoughs that have small screens, and if I made the icons any smaller for thoughs that have really big screens like my dad's monitor which is 1920x1080, and the icons would be not only hard to see, but hard to click on with them being small. Also the active windows for the cloud apps you'll be able to resize so it'll be more like a web browser, just no back, forward, etc: buttons unless you open up the built in web browser in the cloud os.

Also the thumbnail image is temporary, may update it later, maynot I'll see what you guys think.
