My internet speed for upload used to be around 5mbps but now it's at the 0.50mbps but my download speed is the same? Is there anyway to fix it?

Is your ISP Bell, by any chance. I'm asking because we've had speed problems with them in the past.

Turned out we were just a little too far from the central to get the speeds we were paying for through copper wire. Switching to fiber optics did the trick

In any case, though, the problem is likely on your ISP's side. They may be doing some work at the central (you could call them and ask).

Is it just me or do ISP provide good speeds to start off with then cut back on them after a month or so
