[WIP] Workout Manager
SumCode
-Intro
  • Hey guys guys SumCode here and wow it has been longer than forever since I have been active here. Anyways I yesterday I was thinking to myself about how it's summer and I haven't been very active so I wanted to get back to working out again so I created this program
-Description
  • So what is it? Fundamentally, it just manages your workout. You enter what type of workout you want to do and what your interval timings will be and then it will start. Once the timer reaches 0 it will remind you to do what you have entered
-Features
  • Amount of workout doubles every week.
    -See that? One thing
-Preview
Image
So as you can see, it is in its very early stages. I just started it last night.

-Known Bugs
  1. So far I have found one bug which is with the calender. The bolded dates won't show as bolded until the calender is updated (can be done by going forward a month and then back one).
-Downloads -Notes
  • Any feedback (suggestions, fixes, bugs noticed) is welcomed
  • Disclaimer! I did not create the icon it's just one I found on IconFinder

Nice program, could use some work on the UI and features though

This is only helpful for situps and pushups (etc.), but let's say that you are doing bicep curl, you don't (usually) increase the reps/sets, rather, you increase the weight.

Possible features:

- Workout plan per days in the week (So, Monday's workout would be separate from Tuesday's workout scheme)

- Sets/reps/weight per workout

This application seems to be aimed at workouts without weight.

Hmm need a more friendly one as most people go to the gym to lift weights not just push-ups and stuff.

Nice app so far, if you're taking feature requests I have some.

BMI calculator
BMI goal tracker i.e. enter current BMI and every now and then enter new BMI and see it as a chart to see how you're progressing, same can be done with weight

Also I would be too nervous etc. to use a gym so a tool like this can still be very handy for people who work out at home.

Still, even if you are working at home you would still need to log the weight of the dumbbells for example. So I still think he should add that to make it more helpful.

On a further note, like #jordy03 metioned, this app is made for Windows PC, so it would be useless considering no one takes their computers with them to the gym  . You could look into making an app similar for Android/iOS/Windows Phone/ etc.

Note: Discussion, not trying to stir things up :P
