Entry requirements for this contest:

Post a step-by-step tutorial in any programming language in any section on the site. The tutorial must explain and show how to store and retrieve data, this data can be plain text, delimited text, json, xml, database or any form that tickles your fancy.

Show how to create the data, how to save/store the data and how to retrieve/read that data.

When you've finished posting your tutorial simply reply to this topic with a link.

Usual contest rules apply and will end Midnight Sunday 22nd June, then all valid entries will be put to a vote and the winner will be chosen next Friday.
