An updater?
i am pretty sure this is just like the web downloader.
its just downloading the updates from online. so you want it same as that right?

I think ChocolateUniverse is correct on this one. That program looks like a updater
If you look at the automatic updates tutorial: viewtopic.php?f=38&t=155 it has code for downloading and reading files and a progress bar. Looking at the screenshots you posted it looks like the only difference is it lists any files that are available for download and shows a description of what the download is. You can do that by storing the information in files online.
