Hello,

I have just made an announcement in the news section regarding new members spam and explaining about how we are tackling this and our new rewards system. You can read it here: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=1872

The reward system allows every member to unlock various features around the site depending on how many posts they make so its a good way of getting people involved and encouraging new members to post.

Do you think this system is a good idea? please take the poll.

If you have any comments or ideas for anything else we can do or other site features we could add as rewards then please let me know cooll;

Some other reward ideas (based on post count) im currently thinking about are:

Ability to upload files
Adding an avatar
Create polls

I personally think avatars are an easy, and fast way to ideal someone, however maybe if it's possible adding a watermark to their image, so if they hit, lets say 75-100 posts the watermark would be removed. As for the whole reward thing I love the idea man!!!

Yes M8 a very good idea cooll;
Another thing i just thought of, is like a Comment Display ? and what i mean by that is say a Page or anything that displays to the New User showing what other Dedicated Members are saying about this Great Site.

Example Below

"Since i found Codenstuff my Knowledge of VB has gone from strenght to strenght and thanks to all the Great Members on this site who have helped me, i am now creating Applications that i would never have dreamed possible.
Great Stuff Guys...You are the Best"

Or words to that effect

And with this type of thing showing may make the New Members think twice about posting Rubbish and really want to be a Part of this Fantastic Site.

Just a Suggestion.
