I was wondering , did you ever pirate something and are you feeling guilty about it ?

I did pirate something before but I'm not that happy about it :?

It was about 5 years ago I bought something online I think it was a game I cant remember exactly what it was but I downloaded and I remember a few months later my harddrive died and I lost it so I tried downloading it again from the site but I forgot my login details and security question etc and even after emails they wouldnt let me download it again but I still had my serial key for it...soooooo I went into town and bought a copy from a shop..got it home and made a copy of it onto DVD..then the next day I took it back to the shop and got a refund lol.

I guess technically you can say that I pirated it BUT I had already paid for it and I had my legal license key which I paid for and all I needed was a copy of the software (which I was legally entitled too) which they wouldnt give me..so I got a copy another way :P

I dont think I have pirated anything else "illegally" like downloading off torrent sites and using cracks etc ive never done that. OH I do however have a "pirated" copy of Windows XP which I made using the original XP CD which I legally own and I use the copy to reinstall XP on my computer when needed..I dont want my original CD to break..I dont think its against the law to makes copys of software/films/music for personal use as long as you own the original..atleast under UK law :?

Pirating software ect for illegal purposes or if you dont have a legal right to that software is bad wrong..dont do it!!!

It doesn't matter if you downloaded from a torrent site or from other sides if it costs and if you have the retail key then it doesnt count as pirating but at the other hand by downloading and using a cracked licence key is pirating :P
