should save to png for quality loss , jpeg are horrible for quality but good

IMO, I would say its not professional it's more like moderate slight on that side. If this is your first time then I'd say its good

I made this logo in PDN. Also this is the logo for my company. 
I made it in not too much time a while back. I just thought of posting cuz it looks similar to yours.

In paint.net you would rightclick the selection and drag to the rotation of your choice.
