So AVG messed up my computer with 72 virus's because it interfeared with Gimp 2.0, also there is MILLIONS of hidden virus's I think, there is 50gb free out of 140gb, It takes 9.32 minutes and seconds to start up, I want to somehow reinstall it without download or having to have the disk, Also this has been upgraded 9 times! Of video drivers,motherboards, etc. My last hard drive lasted upto 45gb Please Help Me

It's possible if you have the .iso file, otherwise re-download.
When you format a HDD, everything is lost, including your OS.
Options:
- Buy a new Windows XP CD
- Download and burn it
- Get one(CD or .ISO) from friend
- Search on your HDD for a .ISO if you previously downloaded.
- Steal one xD

If you think AVG is not working properly you could try some other antivirus scanners.

Torrents can be very useful but users just use them for piracy most of the time. I haven't seen any good torrents lately.
